A graduate of Pratt Institute with over 20 years of experience, Alexander B Jacobs, AIA, became a principal of the firm in 1998. He has extensive experience in the design and construction of complex renovation projects for both public agencies and private/corporate clients including the Restoration of the LIC Courthouse, the Addition to the Indonesian Mission to United Nations, and the Renovation of Woodside Station. In addition to project management, Mr. Jacobs coordinates some of the most complex aspects of the firm’s projects and interacts with regulatory agencies to usher projects through complicated approval processes. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a project manager at Urbahn Associates where he oversaw several large historic renovation projects. He also participates in many professional and community committees and has served for eight years on the Village of Ridgewood Zoning Board of Adjustment.
