The Hotel Giraffe is a 12-story luxury boutique hotel consisting of 73 keys, a rooftop penthouse and terrace garden, ground floor restaurant and lobby bar. The new masonry and limestone facade of the property harkens back to early 20th century Manhattan streetscapes with Juliet balconies, operable French windows and gracefully arched dormers.

The interiors of the building follow the same approach, with subtle references to the Art Moderne style of the 1920s and 1930s. Yet, the overall impact and impression are completely modern. A coffered wood ceiling, the main focus of the lobby, reflects earlier architectural prototypes, but incorporates fiber optic lighting: a new twist on an old idea. Guestrooms feature quilted satin bedcovers, oversized leather-upholstered headboards, brushed-steel lighting fixtures, pearlized platinum wallcovering, and warm anigre wood veneers accented with bursts of red. The hotel is crowned by a spectacular two-story hospitality suite, an outdoor roof garden and a separate one-bedroom suite that can be rented independently or combined with the duplex.
