This donation to the City of New York from Manchester City Football Club and the UAE Embassy is the first enclosed rooftop soccer field for a Public School in New York City. Located in East Harlem, this first-of-its-kind field provides kids with a year round facility to play the game they love. The school originally had rooftop playing areas covered with steel cages. This new aluminum and fabric enclosure brings that original idea back to life, and provides the school with much needed additional playing space.

The day we finally received the required approvals from the city to build this field was like winning the FA Cup, and the day the field opened and seeing the kids play on it was like winning the League Title.

The Sky Blue enclosure that glows at night has become a beacon in the neighborhood.
