Sei Hyuck Ahn started his career with the SBJ Group in 2004 holding a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Inha University, South Korea. He has worked on historical preservation, high-rise residential, and hospitality projects from design to completion. In historic preservation projects such as the conversion of the Puck Building, an Upper West Side rooftop addition in Manhattan, Love Lane Mews in Brooklyn.

Mr. Ahn’s focus is on finding the proper solutions, working with the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, to not only preserve the historical character of the building, but to also bring the building in line with contemporary urban city life. Through his residential work such as 325 Fifth Avenue, The Edge I and II in Williamsburg, and Hawthorn Park on 62nd Street, Mr. Ahn strives to create ideal layouts under Stephen Jacobs’ guidance. For his hospitality projects, working with brands such as Marriott, Wyndham, and Gansevoort, he balances the need for exciting and new architectural design with the needs of hotel operations to ensure that each project is a success.
