A 96-room hotel in the heart of Tribeca’s historic district in Lower Manhattan, this project blends contemporary attributes with the neighborhood’s mix of 19th century building features. Following a delicate historical evaluation of the district, the new hotel will integrate the classic brick, stone, and cast iron elements of its neighbors with modern materials such as metal screening and an aluminum panel system. Hotel amenities - including a 100-person theater, spa, and an indoor pool - along with a ground level restaurant, café, and bar lounge to provide an inviting and seamless program for both hotel guests and area residents. Flexible spaces are also provided to suit the needs of various private events, meetings, and conferences. The building was designed to accommodate present-day hotel and food and beverage needs, with particular attention paid to the scale and character it will add to the surrounding historical context.
