This hotel is a departure from the modern, cutting-edge style of The Stephen B. Jacobs Group, PC/Andi Pepper Interior Design. Here, the firm was given the task of reinterpreting the French Classic style in a younger and more contemporary idiom. The hotel features a restaurant, full-service spa, and gym. The interiors fluidly bring together a comfortable, eclectic style, mixing antiques of various periods and styles with contemporary reproductions and even modern elements. Guestrooms have built-in armoires in the French Beaux-Arts style, wood flooring, and antiqued mirrors. Curve-topped headboards edged in wood with articulating nail heads draw inspiration from Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann rather than Louis XV, and add a touch of whimsy to the more traditional interior elements. Bathrooms have rainfall showerheads, body sprays, and deep soaking tubs.
